Well Child Checkups

Growing With Your Child

As children grow, their healthcare needs evolve. Our well-child visits are designed to monitor healthy development, identify concerns early, and provide families with guidance through every stage—from toddlers to teenagers.

👶
Toddlers & Preschool Children

After the first year, well-child visits are typically scheduled between 15–18 months, 24 months, 30 months, and then annually. During these visits we continue monitoring developmental milestones, hearing, vision, growth, and overall health. Families receive guidance on school readiness, while emotional, behavioral, and social development questionnaires help identify concerns early.

🎒
School-Age Children

These visits focus on school performance, physical activity, nutrition, and long-term wellness. They also help identify concerns such as learning difficulties, dyslexia, anxiety, or challenges with peer relationships before they become more significant issues.

🌱
Teens & Adolescents

As children mature, they become active participants in their healthcare. Conversations often include puberty, mental health, social media, academic success, healthy relationships, substance use, safe driving, gender identity, and sexual orientation in an age-appropriate and respectful manner.

💚 Private Conversations That Build Trust

Part of every adolescent visit includes private one-on-one time with the physician. This allows teens to ask questions openly while practicing independence in managing their health. Parents can feel reassured that physical examinations are always performed in the presence of the accompanying parent, and we continue encouraging honest communication between teens and their families.
