Many parents worry about their child’s nutritional health due to concerns such as picky eating, poor appetite, easy bruising, fatigue, or other ongoing symptoms. In many traditional pediatric settings, these concerns may be overlooked or only partially evaluated.
Simply measuring vitamin or mineral levels in the blood does not always provide an accurate picture of nutritional health. Standard blood tests cannot always determine whether nutrients are effectively entering the body's cells or whether long-term nutrient stores are sufficient.
