Why Choose Us
Roots2philosophy is unique because we are built on lived experience. Our founder, Esther was first introduced to Philosophy at A-levels and describes the experience as “life-changing.
Through studying Philosophy, she found that her view of the world changed, and this change positively affected her personal and professional life. The study of Philosophy helped Esther build skills that allowed her to excel in her career and academic life. Her only disappointment is that she was not introduced to philosophy at a younger age.
After conducting some research Esther found that Philosophy was not widely accessible outside of tertiary education and that this disproportionately affected underrepresented groups and communities. She felt that everyone should be able to benefit from Philosophy and that is how the idea of Roots2philosophy was birthed.
